Hey everyone Ive been experimenting with those phone camera undertone tests at home to determine my skins undertone but Im noticing something odd. I did a test early in the morning around 7:30 a.m. near my bedroom window and got a cool undertone result. Then just after lunch at about 1 p.m. I ran the test again by the living room window and this time it suggested a warmer undertone. I know my skin doesnt actually vary in color that much during the day so Im pretty sure it has to do with the daylight changing and how it hits my face on camera. For example the morning light from the east-facing window is delicate and bluish but the afternoon light is brighter and warmer because of the west-facing window. I even tried moving away from natural window light to a white LED lamp but still got inconsistent results.
